Setting up an in-house laboratory in the practice
What do I need to get started with CEREC? What equipment do I need? What do I already have in the practice and what do I still need to get? Which blocks do I need to get started?
We answer all these questions in our introductory module.
Basics for the business management of an in-house laboratory
When do you have an in-house laboratory in your practice? What requirements must be met? And what do you need to consider in terms of business management? What are the advantages of setting up an in-house laboratory? What is the correct billing procedure for the services I provide in my own laboratory? Karin will explain these questions and a few other aspects. She will help you to gain an optimal overview of the topic – that’s a promise!

Material overview with material background & indications
We give you a comprehensive overview of the different ceramics. What are the practical differences? Which material is suitable for which indication? Materials science basics are important to ensure that no mistakes are made during processing and that your reconstructions are durable in the long term.
Dental processing of ceramics
Each material requires specific processing. Which instruments can be used to process the ceramic and when? Can I glaze? If so, what is best to use? Is polishing sufficient? Of course, we will give you specific advice on the best tools to use.
We will demonstrate in detail how an implant crown is fabricated. You will be surprised how well it works. Restoring implants with CEREC is really simple and highly effective. And after this module, it will be an integral part of your treatment spectrum!

Here we look into the depths of the software. To ensure that the actual treatment of the patient runs smoothly and quickly, everything can and should be set up correctly in the main menu. We will show you how to proceed so that you can set everything up according to your needs.
Parameters of the CEREC software
Most CEREC users have never changed anything in the parameter settings. But changes are sometimes necessary to ensure that everything fits well in the end. We will show you what and how everything is set and provide you with specific assistance for the correct values.
The construction of a single-tooth restoration - a bridge - an implant crown
This is finally about the main thing: designing a single-tooth restoration, a bridge or an implant crown. In several modules, we will guide you step by step through all phases of the CEREC software and give you helpful and practical tips. You will learn an enormous amount.
